Are you experiencing food shortages in your area?
Or, are they anticipated?
I hope that these questions prompt a blazing discussion in the comments, because I feel certain that food supply issues are imminent, and everyone will be affected.
The more we openly discuss this subject, the more emphasis will be placed upon it.
Hopefully, this will result in us all finding local and countrywide solutions.
I am prompted to write this short missive to draw attention to an article published, by a friend, today on another Substack: Moordays.
I have already commented on the article, sharing a chilling link to an important interview, which lays bare the reality of our situation.
I hope you will add your voice to the thread. You can access it by clicking the link below.
How Secure Is Your Food Supply ?
My comment:
Excellent! So glad you have focussed in on this fundamentally important subject, that so many people seem oblivious to. You might like to watch this: https://renegadeinc.com/uk-food-security-a-fork-in-the-road/
It seems so obvious, yet hidden from most folk. For years have been encouraging people to grow their own and and save their own seeds whether outdoors or indoors via sprouting and microgreens, windowsill or balcony growing, plus of course ultimately the art of outdoor foraging. Here in Wales, of all places, farming is slowly though surely being impinged upon. Food shortage may currently not be very obvious and most people will go along with that. We can rely on no-one other than ourselves, our neighbours and our community providing we grow up and take responsibility. XX
I live in Portugal and no food shortage here..but we do grow more of our own here.
